For more than 13 years, HERO has helped set industry standards for employee health management. HERO works to standardize best practices and differentiate successful programs from less-successful programs. Many industry organizations have come and gone, and we like HERO for its steadfastness and continuous contribution to our industry.  

 

Each year HERO hosts the The C. Everett Koop National Health Awards, the gold standard for excellence in population health management. Since its inception, more than 16 StayWell clients have been selected for this prestigious award, which recognizes dedication and success in promoting better health. 

 

HERO features the HERO Best Practice Scorecard, a free online strategy tool designed in collaboration with consulting firm Mercer. The HERO Scorecard helps organizations identify best practices and sets national benchmarks for the health management industry — which helps companies like StayWell better serve our clients.

 

StayWell is highly supportive of HERO's work, with Senior Vice President and Chief Health Officer David Anderson, Ph.D., a founding member of HERO, a member of the Board of Directors and its former Chairman, and Chairman of the HERO Research Committee. Our leaders in research are also involved in ongoing work on the HERO Scorecard.
