ST. PAUL, Minn. (November 14, 2011) – StayWell Health Management today announced the appointment of Paul Stinson as senior vice president and chief product and marketing officer. Stinson will guide StayWell’s product and marketing strategy to ensure the company meets the business and product needs of its clients. Stinson joins StayWell with more than 25 years of industry experience in health information technology (HIT). 

Prior to joining StayWell, Stinson led the product management and strategy team at MedAssets, an HIT company that develops comprehensive financial performance solutions for hospitals and accountable care organizations (ACOs). Stinson also served in product, marketing and executive leadership roles at Sage Healthcare (formally Emdeon Practice Services and WebMD), MedQuist and Lanier Healthcare. Stinson has published widely on the use of electronic medical records and documentation improvement technologies for enhancing the capture of clinical data. He also has chaired several working groups for American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) on clinical documentation standards.
